Project Description<\/strong><\/h3>

As part of a consultancy project, the glass roof of the Sky Garden on the top three floors of the 20 Fenchurch Street building in London was inspected.<\/p>

The client commissioned a detailed analysis due to existing water infiltration in the roof structure.<\/p>

The aim of the investigation was to identify possible causes and to assess the performance of the existing fa\u00e7ade and roof details.<\/p>

Analysis & Approach <\/strong><\/h3>

The investigation was based on a detailed desk study of the relevant structural details and the known construction conditions.<\/p>

In addition, a site visit was carried out to inspect the existing construction on site and to assess the actual performance of the structure.<\/p>

  • Analysis of the existing glass roof structure above the Sky Garden<\/li>
  • Investigation of structural details in the waterproofing area<\/li>
  • Assessment of the quality of workmanship and the building physics-related factors<\/li>
